COACH • ATHLETIC DIRECTOR • BASKETBALL SCOUT• AUTHOR | MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER
With more than 25 years of experience in basketball, Coach Mike Allen brings a unique background in playing, coaching, player development, recruiting, scouting, athletic administration, program building, leadership, and mentorship.
As a player, Mike was a three-time All-American, three-time National Champion, National Championship MVP, and went on to play professionally for seven years. He scored more than 2,500 collegiate points, was inducted into his High School Hall of Fame, and has been recognized nationally for his impact in athletics, including being featured in Sports Illustrated.
His coaching and athletic leadership career has included experience at the high school and collegiate levels, where he has built programs, developed athletes, and earned three Coach of the Year honors.
But Coach Mike's impact has always been about more than wins, championships, and individual accomplishments.
Throughout his career, he has worked with thousands of student-athletes, helping players develop their game while challenging them to grow in discipline, confidence, accountability, character, leadership, and preparation.
His philosophy is simple:
HARD WORK BRINGS CHANGE.
Coach Mike believes the lessons learned through sports can prepare young people for far more than the next game. Every MAS camp is designed to challenge athletes to become better players, better teammates, stronger leaders, and more confident young people.
